The London Toy Fair has provided us some answers concerning new blasters, along with a brand new blaster.

All thanks to UK Nerf,an awesome blog who received all this info from Hasbro’s PR team.

Well,here it is,

Again,we all knew about this.
Nerf N-Strike Elite Demolisher 2-in-1 Blaster
·         Ages: 8 years & up

·         SRP: £44.99
·         Available: Autumn 2014
Take Nerf shots to the next level with the 2-in-1 blaster that dominates missions! The Demolisher 2-in-1 blaster is impressive in size and power firing up to 85 feet, featuring semi-motorized blasting, a 10 dart banana clip, and all new missiles. Blaster includes two missiles and 10 N-Strike Elite darts.
This view reveals a lot about the blaster. The missile launcher is,unfortunately, integrated into the blaster, and the missiles seem to have a red tinge to them,as if designed for the Mega series.I hope Nerf releases a new missile launcher for the Mega series. Also, the price is pretty steep, almost equal to the Centurion.
Nerf Rebelle Agent Bow
·         Ages 8 years & up

·         SRP: £29.99
·         Available: Autumn 2014
The Nerf Rebelle Agent bow is perfect for high-profile missions that require accuracy and skill. Release the string and watch as the first ever Nerf Rebelle foam-dart arrows soar up to 85 feet across the sky making a whistling sound! For added precision, the Agent Bow features an electronic glowing red dot that provides better aiming accuracy with every shot.
Now this was something I wasn’t expecting.A Bow? With super-awesome real bowstring action? Along with a red dot sight? With super-cool Foam-Dart Arrows? How cool is that?
All thanks to UK Nerf for this info and the photos.More info to come from London!

Zombiestrike Slingfire Revealed,to come out by Fall ’14.

Image

After weeks of speculation,Hasbro announced this new Zombiestrike blaster to various NIC blogs.Undoubtedly, this blaster looks hands-down cool. When we least expect it,Hasbro pops up a design so innovative,it sends us reeling back in amazement.

The official product description is as follows,

NERF ZOMBIE STRIKE SLINGFIRE Blaster
(Ages 8 years & up/Approx. Retail Price: $29.99/Available: Fall 14)
Zombie hordes are no match for the ZOMBIE STRIKE SLINGFIRE blaster! The blaster’s lever-action allows for quicker reloads on the run and DIY-style designs lend an authentic feel to any NERF zombie attack. Blaster comes complete with one six dart clip and six ZOMBIE STRIKE darts which can be fired up to 75 feet. Features the NERF Tactical Rail System customizable with NERF N-STRIKE scopes and accessories, each sold separately. Available at most major retailers nationwide and HasbroToyShop.com.

The lever action looks very promising,as nerf puts it,”The blaster’s lever-action allows for quicker reloads on the run”. Also,i don’t see a clip release switch, which might mean that the lever is capable of discharging the clip when it is empty(using the dart sensor like that in the stryfe, perhaps). Furthermore, the DIY look gives it an improvised finish, making it look like a cobbled up blaster. But one thing that i am looking out for the most  is slam-fire.It will be some serious fun to go ‘wild-west’ in your house, but how will you hold down the trigger when you are working with the lever? I hope it has a direct plunger inside, which will give us a 75 ft range.

Nerf has a lot to explain, for come the 21st of January, the London Toy Fair will reveal more about blasters known and unknown.
